TIP: If you find that your new bracelet is opening too easily with this clasp, try bending and flexing the leather into the curve of the bracelet shape. A freshly cut piece of leather will still be trying to straighten out and put a lot of torque on the clasp, so bending it helps the clasp stay closed.
TIP #2: When gluing the clasp onto the leather, apply a few drops of glue directly to the metal. If applied to the leather first, it may sink in too quickly as the leather is porous.
